REMI Model

Northwestern Michigan College (NMC) in Traverse City has invested in a Regional Planning Model (REMI) for Grand Traverse County, its six county service area, and the 10-county region. 

 

The model offers the following:

 

• An opportunity to utilize this model to apply “what if” future scenarios for our region
 

• Additional data points and scenarios to consider to ensure the best possible outcome for our region
 

• A tool that provides economic forecasts of planning scenarios

 

Northern Nexus will be working with NMC to apply the model for use in Grand Traverse County.
